As an historical fiction writer nothing interests me more than news stories featuring the past as it's unearthed and reimagined and brought to life. I spend a large quanity of time searching the web for fascinating news in archaeology and history. Once in a great while a new archaeological discovery will act as an inspiration for what I'm currently writing. But most of the time the news stories I read are simply interesting tidbits of history.

This blog isn't a forum where I'll post my views. As a full-time writer, writing and publicity take up too much time to allow for daily posts like that. But I would love to share the history that I find fascinating each day. So welcome!
